3D Congress of the DGS 2025

We cordially invite you to the 3D Congress of the DGS 2025. The congress will take place from 2–4 May 2025 in Leipzig with an excursion on 5 May. Registration is possible from January 2025.
Venue
Werk 2 (‘Factory 2’) was built in 1848 as a factory for gas meter systems. The former factory site is now home to the Kulturfabrik Leipzig, a popular venue for concerts and other cultural events. The silver screen for the 3D Congress of the DGS will be set up here in Hall D.

Registration
At the 3D Congress of the DGS, you can enjoy entertaining photo and video shows on a wide variety of topics, all presented in spectacular 3D. From famous cities to remote places, plants, animals and other nature shots, unusual perspectives and objects – there is always something for everyone.
You can register for the whole weekend or buy tickets for individual projection blocks on-site. If you create your own stereoscopic 3D photos or videos, you can also actively participate and submit a 3D show (maximum length: 15 minutes).

Congress fee: 40 € (registration closes 27 April 2025)
Early bird price: 35 € (register by 31 March 2025 and pay by direct debit or bank transfer)
Ticket at the door: 6 € per projection block
Guests from abroad may equally pay in the following local currencies:

Getting to Leipzig
🚅 By train
Leipzig is easily accessible by ICE train. Both the north-south route from Hamburg via Berlin to Munich and the west-east route from Frankfurt to Dresden run via Leipzig.
Night trains run directly from Zurich to Leipzig and from Vienna with a changeover in Dresden.
🚌 By bus/coach
Flixbus offers various daily connections to Leipzig. The central bus terminal is located in the city centre right next to the main railway station.
✈️ By flight
- Direct flights to Leipzig/Halle (LEJ): Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna
The metro lines S5 and S5X connect the airport to the central station in twelve minutes. - further direction connections to Dresden (DRS): Zurich
The metro line S2 takes twelve minutes to Dresden Hauptbahnhof. From there, you can reach Leipzig in short of 1½ hours. - further airports: Berlin-Brandenburg (BER) approx. 2 hours, Frankfurt (FRA) approx. 3½ hours by train
